Sybil Cummin, MA, LPC, ACS

Sybil is a licensed professional counselor and approved clinical supervisor specializing in working with families who have experienced coercive control and domestic violence and find themselves having to navigate the family court system.  As play therapists we are often put in situations where our child clients are living between two homes, and we seem to be tasked with assessing which is the "bad" or "abusive" parent and feel unsure of how to respond in the system.  I help therapists assess coercive control and domestic violence in their clients' systems, understand their roles as the treating therapist, and protect themselves as they work with these challenging families.
